Rob Edwards and O'Neil are two of the initial candidates in the frame to replace Vitor Pereira as manager of Wolves.

Pereira was dismissed on the weekend after the team's ten-game without a victory beginning to the top-flight season.

Furthermore Edwards and O'Neil - both of who have previous associations to the team - are among the options to be evaluated by the club leadership.

The 42-year-old is reportedly enjoys support from the Wolves directors as they begin the search of appointing a new head coach.

Gary O'Neil is additionally appearing as a surprise candidate, even though he would be a surprising appointment considering he was sacked by Wolves in the previous winter.

The ex- West Ham United player is currently unemployed which means the club would not be required to provide any compensation.
